*DEPRESSED*

Yesterday I accidentally knocked over a glass of coke and my macbook got soaked. I hope it dries and works, otherwise I'm screwed. The old comp I¨m typing on now works like crap, it's probably the slowest computer in the universe. Please have your fingers crossed for my poor apple baby. It has already survived being soaked in hot tea once, I pray ( Read more... )

I'm crossing my finger for your laptop, though Coca Cola is not something to take easy!

I know Coke is terrible -_- But as it survived a full cup of hot tea with sugar and lemon, I hope that a little bit of coke will not kill it. :(

Ohy don't badmouth Coke...it was the only thing that helped my digestion when I was pregnant and everything I ate stopped there inside my stomach and didn't want to go down! XD And still now, other than enjoying it from time to time and especially because of the hot, when I have bad digestions it works better than any medicine.
But how much of it knocked down on your laptop? I think the question of this one survival depends much on it because Coke, you know, is sticky so if not quickly removed the damage could be not solved =__=

lol, I didn't mean to badmouth it...I am actually addicted to Coke...and if I don't have it for a couple of days I crave sweet things even though I normally don't eat them.

The amount of liquid that got in wasn't much I think, but I know how sticky it is -_-

I'm afraid to try turning the comp on...scared it won't work -_-

LOL I'm sure it's fine. My macbook drinks tea coffee and ice water on a regular basis (why do we keep force feeding our babies I'm not so sure). Most of the time it starts working again when it's dried. Other times only the keyboard or the power outlet gets broken. No miracle. Just plain and simple 'apple' XD

I turned it on this morning and it works, just the keyboard and touchpad feels a bit different.

The last time I had to replace the battery, this time it seems to work fine. LALALLALLA! Thank you, Apple!
