I think the thing with languages is, you're always going to be awkward when speaking it at first, because your mouth isn't used to forming the unfamiliar consonants (can you tell I'm doing Lingustics, lol) so you have a lot to concentrate on at once. You have a distinct advantage in that you have some experience with the language from before you hit about age 14-15, so for you it will be much easier to pick up the natural flow of the language than it will be for your classmates. :D がんばれ! You'll be fine. :D And if you ever need help with homework, you can always ask Kristie or I!
Lol I did my S2 timetable and that looks so screwed (u_u;) But I still get Monday off.
Well, it sounds like you're doing well :D AND UVERworld ROCKS :D
Erm. What else... yeah I was pretty nasty towards the fobs (internally of course). Most fobs don't know they are fobs, and they don't realise that they are fobby. I shouldn't be nasty or anything :P but it's just that the nice fobs are okay (like I can live with that and them) but there are those really BITCHY fobs you just want to yell at "BITCHY FOB" or fobby hoes you wanna go "FOBBY HOE" at.
I don't know what my point is, but the bottom line is, it's okay to be a fob or act like one (come on I told someone I liked TWINS when I really don't know jack about them)- just don't become a fobby bitch or a fobby hoe :D
I agree that it is okay to be a fob - fobs are nice people. But there are some that just...irritate me by not trying to speak in English, especially when they're in Australia and they're taking up study at an English speaking uni.
Dunno. Maybe I was in a crappy mood that day. LOL. Usually when people speak in any other language, I don't mind but. yeah.
lol today in the design tut I discovered ALL the guys in my class were Honk cept for one- and this was the convo:
Raymond: (in canto) Yo Michael how do you draw this if there's something behind something? Michael: ?! Raymond: (in canto) like (in english) hidden Me: o_O (in English) Dotted lines? Michael: (in canto) why didn't you speak in chinese? Me: (in English) because I'm bad at it?
wow i feel the same way abt fobs and then wonder, oh shit i'm a racist idiot living in a multicultural society who teh hell have i turned into. but yeah they realy frustrate me. sounds like a thread in your 4u major work
'' Like if you come to Australia ... speak English for god's sake ... the whole course is in English, not Cantonese '' ---that sounds like me ahahahaha lol
