There is indeed a "crack" or more like a method of "uninstalling" that little pop up thing. It was a thing introduced by M$ in the past few months or so to install this thing on everyone's comp that wasn't genuine Windows. I have it as well and I don't really care (that's because I can't figure out how to reset my computer in safe mode) because although it says you're not eligible to receive system updates, you still get them. They just wanna con people into buying the genuine product key.

Yeah, I read abt the genuine product key thing .. but urghh, it's damn pissy having to have it come up everytime you start your computer.

I think I'll just live with it... thanks for the heads up though.
