My exposure to classical music started here at USC. i have been attending a couple of concerts each month on an average at USC's Thornton School of Music.
Even the Jazz concerts and orchestra's that I have attended have musicians looking for perfection, following the structure through sheets. Has helped me develop a totally new perspective to music!
Good! :) I have attended a couple of jazz concerts here too.. mostly those playing with the saxophone and/or the piano as the lead instruments. i have just simple been in awe of the large repertoire of tricks that one must have up their sleeves when it comes to soloing and especially when its impromptu! would love to see a good jazz outfit with a guitarist as lead...it seems pretty hard to come by :)
