"Onani Master Kurosawa" - Death Note Parody?
I just wanted to make a note about something I found.
There are a few manga out there that are unquestionably inspired by Death Note.
Most of these are Death Note doujinshi (fan comics), but some are original titles that merely resemble Death Note.
"Onani Master Kurosawa"(aka "Masturbation Master Kurosawa") is a series written by Ise Katsura and drawn by Yoko, and it has original characters that are suspiciously similar to Death Note characters. Some people have even nicknamed it "Masturbation Note" due to the similarities and because the central plot revolves around masturbation.
If Light's extremely elaborate genius-level plans all involved masturbation instead of world domination, and if L was a creepy-looking weird girl at Light's school, then Death Note might have been like this.
