wow...when you said you had a soft spot for crack pairings you were not kidding were you. How I envy your daring creativity, I for one don't usually have the stomach to write such fics as these or read them for that matter, but you my friend; You have such a great writing talent that you made me read the whole thing and I loved it! even if this paring is a little off for me. You should deserve all the respect and I mean all of it. Why did I not add you as a friend before?

This was my favorite part by the way:

Then his eyes locked on hers and he said, "Also, you must lick my ear for as long as I want."

"Lick your ear?"

THIS!

Ah, thank you!

*embarrassed*

This was hard to write and took a very long time to finish (half a year, I think?) because I find the ages involved pretty skeevy.

This is one of the very few fics I'm not posting on fanfiction.net for that reason. I've got some things on fanfiction.net that stretch the rules and possibly break them, but this fic would be something that certainly breaks their rules and I'd feel uncomfortable posting it.

Yeah I think I went a little over broad with the praising there didn't I XP it's just hard to find good fanfic writers now a days. I mean I'm not saying that all fanfic writers suck cause I know there's alot of good fanfic writers out there it's just this particular fandom kind of lacks that curtain quality.

I completely understand. Writing a fanfic or drawing fanart that's way out of your comfort zone does take little baby steps to get it done.

I know! I've got an incredibly old unfinished LxSoichiro that I've never uploaded anywhere, and I don't know if I'll ever finish it, and I think it's mainly because I feel uncomfortable writing it.

I also can't help but wonder if that's the reason why I'm so incredibly slow on updating my RyukxLight fic, because I'm kind of squicked by the pairing and it's harder to get in the writing mood for it. I've had worse recurrent writer's block on that fic than on anything else I've ever written.

Ah, cute. It could have been creepy, but it wasn't. I love thinking that L, despite all his great intelligence, is probably quite sexually innocent. It's kind of adorable.

Also, did you know that ear-cleaning is a thing in Japan? I found it somewhat relevant to your ear-licking fic. Perhaps L has a penchant for it. :P

Glad it wasn't creepy. I was trying really hard to be non-creepy.

I view L as being sexually innocent (though knowledgeable in a book-smart kind of way) but also perverted. It's hard to balance those two factors into a whole that fully makes sense.

I didn't know about the ear-cleaning parlors. I knew about ear candles, but not those. It's interesting. They have so many types of different services in Japan that they don't have in America (either that, or I don't know about the American ones either).

I think of him having looked at cross-sections in anatomy textbooks when he was a kid, due to his having quite an analytical brain and wanting to see how it worked.

And then building up some quite perverse fantasies but not getting around to/being able to get to act them out in person, which of course is very different from just thinking about it.

L is kind of clueless about sexual topics, like when he didn't anticipate that the rest of the task force would think there was anything sexual about him tying up a young female model in a straitjacket and a blindfold.

But he also seems highly knowledgeable about pretty much every topic that comes up, including sexual ones, and he seems to be an expert on human behavior. He was rather blase about watching Light look at bikini magazines while Light's father was having a meltdown about his son looking at "those kinds of magazines", and L was just like, "Oh, it's normal."

If Light had broken out actual porn, I think Soichiro might have had a natural heart attack right there.
