For those of you who wanted to know about the haircut that caused all of the fuss. Here are two photos of Mia. The first is a ‘before’ picture of Mia doing some bad-ass knitting. She’s wearing the ever-present toque. I think she looks pretty cute, but, as I mentioned previously, her school wanted her to drop the hat.

Did the IEH miss out on the '70s and early '80s, where EVERY SINGLE GIRL IN THE WESTERN WORLD had that haircut? Plus, it's super-cute to boot, and clearly optimized for orange-balancing purposes.

I second whomever called it first: the IEH is a douchebag.

I agree: a total douchebag. On the bright side, Mia isn’t there all of the time and everyone else she runs into seems to like it fine.
