Volver was good - Penelope Cruz was fantastic in it.

My tip for the adult/child reversal: don’t pick a weekend. Originally, we’d planned to do it on Friday night, but then there was a talk at the university and we couldn’t. All of Saturday was a bit long. The kids had a good time though. Over dinner they proposed making it a monthly event.

Do see Volver, if you have the chance: it’s very good.

My kids do seem to fall into the birth order pattern pretty effortlessly. I was a lot like The Boy, and I was also the oldest kid in my family.
