I notice flaws and imperfections in my art all the time. In my eyes, they are ruined, but to everyone else they are gorgeous and well done. I guess I should give myself a break

I suspect that comes from a deep desire to communicate what is in your mind in a complete and accurate way. To such an artist, a flaw is like stuttering at best and not being able to find the right words at worst. But art is always interpretive, and the viewer will be blind to many faults, not knowing the intent.
