What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
cheered in font of 8,000 people, drove to another state, had surgery, smoked a blunt, became legal, was cheated on, stayed up all night

Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Since I can’t remember it, I’m guessing I didn’t keep it. And this year, sure.

Did anyone close to you give birth?
my cousins are always poppin out kids but we’re not that close

What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
a major

What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
3/13 - losing the boys basketball state championship to Northwestern, 5/3(?) - the day I found out my lung had collapsed, 6/7 - graduation from Springbrook High School, 8/27 - moving into St. Joe’s, 8/30 - my 18th birthday, 10/31 - Halloween: going to Shampoo and getting mugged, 12/21 - last day at SJU until next year

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
graduating high school and going to a college that I love

What was your biggest failure?
not being as good of a friend as I could have been

Did you suffer illness or injury?
my lung collapsed twice!

What was the best thing you bought?
my computer or my iPod, although my parents actually bought both of them

my friends and family

a relationship, straight hair with blond highlights

I didn’t see enough movies to have liked one enough to have a favorite

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
The night before I drank in Kait and Julie’s room (past midnight, so it does count as my birthday) even though we weren’t really friends, then it was the first day of classes, then my house threw me a surprise party with a cake that my mom gave Varsha money for (and since I didn’t find out that last part until later, I felt very happy and loved)

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If the guy I like didn’t have a girlfriend.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
cute but not too trendy. I’ve gone a lot more AE and have become a huge fan of clogs and hats recently.

What kept you sane?
all of my friends for sure. (I’ll keep Allison’s answer for this one)

Brad Pitt or David Beckham

What political issue stirred you the most?
I guess the election.

all of my friends and fam when I went to school
