If it skips everytime you make a cd, then I think there is something wrong with your cd burner. It could be something as simple as taking it out and putting it back in. Sometimes things get nudged.

what does taking it out and putting it back in have to do with her cd burner?

I'm just thinking taking out the burner and maybe dislodging whatever may be making the cd skip? Or am I way off on the possibility that something physical is the problem?

I'd suggest she just kick it, but I hear compys don't like that much.

Hey you! Ok...couple of things. are you using 80min cds? some of the older burners(not sure how old yours is) take issue with the 80min/700mb cds. The other thing to consider is variable bit rates on the music you are burning from. if some of the songs are high bit rate(better quality) and others are low, it could be confusing the software a bit when it burns. consider converting the mp3s to wav format first(I think there is an option in Nero to do this) and then try burning your cd from the wav files instead.

Alternately you can use the agwani method and give it a kick.

good luck.

I'n not sure what yo mean by "skipping". I had a similar problem wth a mix CD: the tracks didn't blend into each other properly; there was a skip between each track.

If that's your problem, in Nero check your burn settings and look for "track at once" versus "disk at once" in the "advanced" section. It needs to be "disk at once". Also look for a "No pause between tracks" option in the file selection window.

If not, please ignore the above.

Btw: Are you still up for a photo shoot?

:)

A.
