Ok so here's the skinny. I am in love with the most wonderful man I have ever met. We met in high school through friends. Over the last five years we have floated in and out of contact. For as long as I have known him there was something between us, but he was always dating this other girl. So I get a call a few months ago that they aren't together

There is no need to be scared about me leaving or anything bad happening between us to separate us. I love you and wish that you were (which in all reality since I was thinking of you most of the time that you were the love of my life then) the major part of my life then. I made a mistake and wish I could fix it. You were meant to be there by my side the last 5 years not her, she didn't deserve it. I hope that this scare goes away even if it is with time.
