Love you too girl. So many changes around here, it's just crazy. LAR moving to Michigan and I've taken another job on campus (with Dr. Sandra Harpole). I'm pretty excited about the changes. I think I've secured Maggard a RA position taking over DSL responsibilities. Pretty nutty I know. Too bad my new job's not in Richmond. Oh, I found a school in Virgina who uses GroupSystems in the classroom. (I'm such a goober) I want to go visit bad! I believe it's in Arlington, VA.
also, it's great that you got the position with Sandra. When does that start? i know you'll be great at it. and, yes, it would be AWESOME if you were in Richmond!! we'd get to see each other more than once every year or so! :) if you ever want to visit the school in arlington, let me know. it's about 1.5 hours from us, but we could totally spend some time together!
Liesel leaves at the end of August. It's been quite the roller coaster ride as you can imagine. I got a call from L on Friday asking me to come out to her house at 1:00. She said she wanted to talk. So, I head out there (a few minutes late). I expected to be greated with a glass of wine and work talk. I walk into the kitchen and begin unloading my arms. L says, go look in the living room. I am immediately drawn to tears and screaming and laugher (all while jumping up and down), who is sitting in the big ass chair but Jonelle Husain in the flesh. I freaked!!! It was so great.
I will certainly keep you posted if I go to Arlington. Who knows I might try to squeeze in a visit there during the week of your wedding or something.
