I love American Idol. Oh, not like everybody else loves AI. I love the first few shows, the audition shows. The ones with the horrible people who think they can sing but couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. You know, the ones who sing like my mother. ;) Honestly, I don't watch the competition shows . . . gets old after awhile. But - I do watch

Mee too! I watch the audition shows and maybe a show or two in between...then I don't watch the final one but I'm always interested in finding out who won.

You're evil! I can't stand to watch those! It makes my skin crawl. I don't know why... It's like fingernails on a chalk board for me. It's the same thing when Caelan's trying to be funny and I just think he's being embarrassing to himself... I feel nauseaus and my anxiety is awful... Ewwwww. I just can't stand it.

I figure it's the fifth season - they know what the deal is. They know Simon is a jerk, they know what kind of voices have gotten through before. I sometimes feel guilty laughing, but I figure they put themselves up for it.
