I just Febrezed everything that my parents gave me for Christmas. I love my folks, but my father . . . well, he stinks! He smokes a pipe and therefore everything in their house stinks. Woo-hoo!!!! I leave in 10 minutes to go meet my mom to drive into DC to see Wicked! And she's taking me to dinner at the nice restuarant in the Kennedy Center. So excited. Can't think straight. Pants look horrid but can't wear really nice ones as mom is coming from work. Oh well - I'm not going to pick anybody up right?

We finally got our Christmas tree on Saturday evening. As with everything else in my life these days, it turned into somewhat of a fiasco. We've (my parents and I) been getting our trees at the same lot for the last 16 years. They're cut and on the lot in less than 24 hours.
