Catnip the cats euphoric by triggering their pheromone receptors. It makes them super happy.
First we get the glass for the table, then we dole out the catnip toys. In that order EXACTLY. Or else then we be takin' them all back to the SPCA!
Re our previously-threaded conversation about talking cats: I got up this morning and was in the kitchen getting the morning caffeine together. Carol came in and I gave her a good morning hug. Morgan (our 3-legged) was on the scratch post in the living room stared at us and started HOWLING. When we separated from our hug he stopped and when we hugged again he started HOWLING. He prefers me and seems to get jealous when I pet the other cats. Or cuddle Carol. LOL
My oldest cat, a thirteen-year-old Siamese, is the only one whom ever seems to react to catnip. The kittens could not care less and the other two adult kitties tend to turn their noses up towards it. Strange kitties.
