Rules:
* Stories must be a minimum of 10,000 words, there is no maxium word limit.
* Stories may be of any genre (gen, slash, femmeslash, het or bob), as long as the main pairing/characters are one from column A and one from column B (henceforth refers to as "A/B". Threesomes or moresome are also allowed as long as A and B are part of it.
* The relationship between A and B (be it bromantic, romantic, fraternal, even antagonistic) must be the central element of the story.
* AUs, crossovers are allowed as long as the focus is A/B.
* The story must be an unpublished story. WIPs are fine as long as none of the chapters are publicly available prior to your minibang posting date.
* The story must be a stand alone, completely story. Sequels/fics set in existing verses are fine as long as the story can stand on its own.
* Content wise we do not allow inclusion of Misha's son and Jared's son. Please note this is our initial stance, if you feel strongly about writing either subject, please contact the mods. We welcome dialogue.
* Please warn for potential triggering content (e.g. dub/non-con, character death, discrimination). Always err on the side of caution and over-warn. Please contact the mods if you're unsure about warnings.
* Stories must be beta'd. No exceptions. We'll provide beta resources in a subsequent post. Please contact the mods if you have issues finding betas.
* Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
* Writers can only sign up to write ONE story. Writing teams are allowed.
* Writers will receive at minimum one piece of artwork for their story.
* Writers may also sign up as artist for this bang, but ask that you do not claim your own fic.
* Writers must communicate with mods through the check-ins, with their assigned artist, and with their beta. Artists and betas must communicate back with their writer. If your writer/artist doesn't contact you when they should, please let the mods know. If you must drop out, please talk with the others and let them know and let the mods know as well.
Important Deadlines:
You must sign-up to participate by July 29th.
As a writer you must check in on Aug. 31st and Sept. 21s. Your first draft (10,000 words minimum) must be completed and turned in with a summary, story warnings and final title by Oct. 26th.
On October 28th, your summary and title will be posted (anonymously) for a participating artist to claim as a prompt. The artist will create at the very least one piece of art (title banner, illustration, manip, vid, etc.) to accompany your story. You MUST give your artist/vidder a copy of your story draft before November 1st, or you will be dropped from the challenge.
An assigned, staggered posting schedule will begin Dec. 10th.
