I grew up believing that if I chose right, Id meet the right guy. If I didnt date impetuously, if I dated only so called good boys who did the proper courtship thing, if I never hooked up or did stupid things with boys... Id be able to find a good guy who could see me for who I am and love me despite it all

i found your post touching and can relate to much of what you wrote. i'm sorry you're hurting and i wish i had words of comfort. but all i can offer is understanding.
