I'm not thrilled with the texture -- not as firm as it should be (there's something dirty in there). But I'll bet the non-vegan version wouldn't have that problem. The taste is amazing, though :)

"Firm", "stiff"--sometimes baking can stimulate a whole different type of appetite.

Sorry to hear the texture of the cheesecake bars didn't come out as planned. I'm sure the taste was to die for. Meanwhile, after reading your entry, I couldn't resist buying a jar of Nutella when I went to the market last night. I'm going to swirl some into my coffee.

Gosh, they sound good! I love nutella, but I can't have it in the house (because basically I'd sit down and eat the whole jar in one go :)
