Yay!!! (happy dance) Wilson finally made his move!!

And this was perfect -- both of them totally in character, a terrific romance-with-appropriate-snark.

Thank you for finishing the story!

Yep, it only took them 20 years and 20 days' worth of challenges ... But here they are :)

Thank you for reading!

Damn curtain! ;-)

Sweet! Wilson doing the first move was so right!

Lovely banter, as always and I was strangely curious about the patient - I'm used to ignore the poor victims.

I have to say that I know the show must have used the 'ten days challenge' at some point that I sure missed, and it seemed to me a very weird plot point, so kudos for doing something like that so perfectly IC.

Yeah, in S7 after Wilson had been dumped and was sitting at home with a diabetic cat, House gave him 10 days to find somebody ... And then it was never brought up again. It was all very silly.

Heh, I felt kind of bad not giving the patient here a diagnosis, but I got up caught up in the kissing ;) Thank you for reading/commenting!

:-) From the description in the Dropped plot line challenge I could gather what happened. What I found weird was not so much that they never followed through it - this was a fatal flaw that the show never overcame in other instances too - but more about the idea that House would want Wilson finding someone. It's on and by itself a complete change in House's character and his behaviour toward Wilson. House finding God in later episodes wouldn't make me more astonished! That's how much the whole idea disturbed me. I'm glad I could avoid seeing it in canon!

But again, your interpretation is flawless!

My impression was that the main motivation for House was that he felt guilty for being in a relationship while Wilson was home with a cat. So his solution was to push W to get out and hook up with someone. I admit, though, that when I watched S7 episodes, I wasn't exactly paying deep attention :/

I like to think that House does genuinely want Wilson to be happy, and that he's sometimes torn between that and wanting W all to himself. Of course, my solution is for them to get together. :)

This is a great sequel! It goes right where I hoped the other story would go. They manage to break out of their paralysis, and in the end they both win.

I have to give a particular shout out to the focus on body language and the way House uses it to figure out what's going on with Wilson. I've tried that once or twice and failed miserably, but you made it look easy.

*mems*

Thank you. Yes, I figure Wilson is so tight-lipped, House would have to have become a master of reading of his body language :)

Thanks for reading - Glad you liked it!

Absolutely wonderful! I was soooooooo happy to see a sequal as I loved the first part and I have to say this was brilliant! So perfectly in character, touching but hilarious as well!

One of my favourite "first time" fics without a doubt! I think if House & Wilson had actually got together on the show it probably would have gone something like this!!

:-D

Aw, thanks. I was trying to make it play out like an episode, if they would ever end an ep with H/W making out on a couch :)

Thanks for reading!

-Curtain Falls - LOL!

I must say I just absolutely loved the opening to this one, I was laughing to myself through most of it. You have a delightful way of writing (narrative voice? Don't know if that's the right term) and I love the little meta digs at the usual progression of House's cases - from the standard rectal bleeding and projectile vomiting, to the lesser seen hysterical blindness and intermittent muteness., “You can add seizures to the list.” House shrugged. “Hardly unexpected. Seems to be the typical sequela after rectal bleeding and vomiting.” (I did think at one stage that House was going to get an epiphany on the case halfway through the kissing scene :)

Love the scene with first Chase, and then Wilson in the cafeteria - “I can move and stare,”, He decided it was “What about tomorrow at eight?” Or possibly “Waterboard torture is great.” Either way, this woman was trouble. (Probably more trouble if the latter were true ( ... )

Hee. I was actually going to do that! (I was trying to shape the story like an episode, complete with anvil-like patient.) But when I was writing it, I just didn't want them to stop kissing ;) And I was feeling too lazy to come up with a diagnosis for the poor guy.

Thank you for reading!
