I was happy that House got a medical puzzle to solve!

On one hand, he did not like the gleam he was seeing in Wilson’s eyes; on the other hand, he liked it a lot.

You have such a deft touch at expressing House's feelings for Wilson.

I read this today while exercising on a stationary bike at the gym and people kept looking over at me because so much of this had me laughing out loud. :)

A few of my favorite lines:

we just have to do what the police won’t. We’ll stake out the place and be there when the peeper arrives.”

This conversation was getting surreal.“And then what?” House challenged. “You’ll lecture him into submission?”

.....

It was as if he were looking at pre-thymoma Wilson-albeit a frailer, messier version in worn, grass-stained jeans and a holier-than-thou T-shirt that urged, “Plant More Trees.” Leave it to Wilson to buy a T-shirt that lectured.

.....

“To what will hopefully be a very fruitful working relationship,” Mark pronounced.

House nodded. “To fruit.”

(Mark better watch out. House already lost one love to a Mark, I don't think he would allow it happen again).

Great chapter. I can't wait for more of their adventures!

You should've just told the gym people you were reading a House fanfic where House and Wilson move into a tiny house, and House is trying to become a P.I. They would totally have stopped looking at you weirdly.

Yeah, the name Mark just popped into my head, and it wasn't until after I'd written this that I remembered Stacy's Mark. Why not give House another Mark nemesis? :)
