I've actually never seen My Strange Addiction. I just knew it existed b/c my mom once told me about it. It popped into my mind when I tried to imagine a weird show H&W might like. Then I googled it and found the ep with a car named Chase, and that sealed it!
Thanks so much for reading!

I love the image of Wilson on the back of House's bike and House telling him not to let go.

Not that I'm complaining about watching HL and RSL wearing leather and riding motorcycles! Not for a second! But sometimes more is better. :)

Some of my favorite lines:
He looked at Wilson, who just smiled as he gazed down at his boots. “No, really,” House tried again. “Actually having sex would be less gay than this.”
he’d claimed his skin was chafing from the wind and leather and constant sarcasm.
“I want you to…to just drink your drink and hang out with me,” he said finally, internally cringing. “I want you to not get beat up by the Hanks Williams clan …I want to not worry about you.”
“We’d never do this at home,” Wilson added sleepily.
I was wondering if you used a real restaurant--cool! No doubt House and Wilson would adore My Strange Addictions, but it squicks me out.
Superb job! Thank you. *mems*

I've actually never seen that addiction show, but my mom once told me how disgusted she was by an episode she caught. Of course, I immediately thought of it when trying to imagine a show H/W would watch!

And it's funny, and so in-character. <3

p.s. I read your story right after I posted this, and at first I thought, "Oh no, another story where they share a hotel bed." But then I realized there can never be enough of that ;)

The tone of this is so right. House doing his best to be the pillar, by mocking Wilson's dorkiness and his stupid coconut-head, and by keeping him from utterly self-destructing in that bar or overachieving himself into an even earlier grave.

"He just wanted him to be Wilson. And not stop." This just about broke my heart, however. How much longer will Wilson still BE? *sniff*
Wonderful fic! Thank you. *mem*
