Their argument about Wilson getting chemo was gorgeous and brilliant. I'm glad it wasn't resolved right there. Beautiful job! I really hope you do continue.

I'm glad you're glad it wasn't resolved ;) I didn't want to -- I don't think it should be easy. (Oh, and I don't know how to resolve it!)

“Everyone knows Shaggy wore the leash in that relationship.” Lol - so true! Wilson is definitely in charge here - who could resist those 'I'm dying of cancer' eyes :)

this is the man who apparently hates change after all
Exactly. As happy as I was that House and Wilson were taking off together at the end of the series, I can't imagine they would just start having a grand old time, no worries.

I love Rilke. I actually haven't read Letters in quite some time. But I was recently reading some of his poems, and remembered how much I loved his Letters. You speak German as well? Wow.
I have, in recent years, witnessed culottes in middle America. But I don't if they're still sold, or if a lot of women were just still wearing the same clothes they bought 20 years ago.
I'm glad you liked the little taste of Savannah. I've been there quite a few times because I had friends who went to the art college there, and my brother lived there for a time. It's a unique little city and really beautiful in parts. But very rundown and not-too-safe in others.

I also haven't read the Letters in a long time but they were very important to me at a point were I was unsure about my life choices. I should make sure they're around the house again once my children approach the end of high school.
If you ever want to learn German, you'll find it very easy having English as native language. Especially if you take my approach of blissfully ignoring grammar :).

My sister-in-law is from Italy and speaks English, German and French, and she tells me the same thing. But I keep insisting that I want to learn Italian and French because they sound so much prettier.

I like the way you phrase it: living in a traveling bubble. They would likely try that for a while, but...bubbles burst.
Thanks for reading :)

"I want you to change your mind because you actually want to live longer. With me."
House's outburst on the tour is wonderfully affecting and in character, too.
I latch onto the most emotional parts, but the places you have them going and the things you have them doing provide a wonderful setting for that emotion!
