Wonderful! Not only a coherent story but Wilson character development, Wilson family history, angst and a nice dollop of hurt/comfort! Your use of the prompts was so natural it wasn't even noticeable. And I like Wilson spending half the story with his fly undone :) And House as a duck :)

Thanks! You're a true inspiration ;) Oh, and Wilson's fly was actually undone for the whole story (I consider that my highest achievement here.)

All the prompts in reverse order - love it! You and menolly are crazily creative :) Great job with this!

Thank you! But menolly is the creative one...I'm a mere copy-cat :)

I was very impressed with the clever way of fitting the Moose in; you guys with a deep knowledge of US culture and mores really have an advantage. The memory of Danny's disappearances (temporary and permanent) justifies Wilson's irrational fear of House vanishing as well, and gives him opportunity for both banter and TLC.

This was a perfect story, lots of Wilson-y background and, of course, an open fly.

OT fresh-squeezed lemonade with lots of sugar
Here's another cultural divide. I know USians add sugar to freshly squeezed lemons, but it's still such a weird idea to me.

Ha! Background + open fly = good story ... I'll remember that.

I don't put sugar in my lemonade, either. If you don't like tart and tangy, don't drink lemonade, I say.

Thanks so much for reading!

I love how you take a series of mishaps and turn them into a story that explores Wilson's childhood and his issues with Danny, and then brings those same concerns forward into his interactions with House. I like how you write his confusion, too.

Thank you! Wilson's background (esp concerning Danny) has so many possibilities to explore, I think. The show gave a couple tantalizing tidbits, then dropped them entirely.
