Ow! Corneas hurt!

I love the way you write Wilson's sense of humor so wry and deadpan. It's both fun and IC. And the last line is a real zinger after all that teasing House has been doing.

Eye injuries actually freak me out, so I'm shocked I wrote this. Insomnia does things to you.

Thanks so much for reading!

This was a pleasure to read, including the cut text. I must admit I can't imagine one of the males (gay or not) of my acquaintance being interested in producing something like that, nor would I. I think I would rather poke straws into my eyes ;). But it fits Wilson an of course it fits the prompt admirably. The banter was perfect, and I can only hope you will eventually show us some of the implied sex. If not, we'll have to imagine each on our own ;).

Reading anything you write is a real pleasure.

PS I really like your writing style, especially the fact that there are so many words I don't know. Good words like sconce and strabismic, or obliterate and candelabra (who knew that candelabra is singular in English and takes an s in the plural?) I like good words almost as much as I like House/Wilson sex. At least implied sex.

Thank you for your kind comments!

A couple of the gay men I know live for these kinds of crafts (one of them gave me the book I mentioned in the A/N). And a guy I dated used to love to do crafts with me. But he was a bit odd ;)

I honestly don't know if I have the skills to write sex scenes that anyone would want to read. It's a little intimidating. I'll stick with reading yours, for now ;)

"Why do you think I'm making them?" Oh, Wilson! We all know ;)

Such great bantering, and I love how House keeps touching Wilson's hair. Having met RSL during his "Born Yesterday" stint, I can second House's wish to run my hands through his hair (but, of course, I didn't! Shook his hand, though! When we walked away my son was on his cell telling his friends I was geeking out! Teenagers!)

Thanks for the laugh!

Thank you for reading :)

You met RSL? How sweet. I live in NYC and always intended to casually loiter by the theater where BY ran, but I never got around to it :/

Well, he's back on the East coast, so maybe he'll be back on Broadway soon. :)

I live in Corning, NY, about 180 miles away and I'd make the trip again to see him in person!

You are brilliant at capturing these two! Great fic, and full of laughs. Especially loved the "dorky giggle" (reminded me of the speed episode), as well as the ending :)

Thanks so much! Actually, whenever I have Wilson giggle in a story, I hear that "speed episode" giggle. Most adorkable giggle ever by a grown man.
