It was lovely to see House and Wilson in the swamp. I'm also very happy that you're sending them to New Orleans. It seems fitting that they go back there.

Yes, I can't imagine that they wouldn't go back there. Thank you for reading :)

Thank you for saving me thousands of dollars on sightseeing expenses. Love your sense of place. Your mix of humor and poignancy were perfectly balanced. I was laughing at Okefenokee Joe's first reference to ghosts and smiling through misty eyes as House and Wilson duked it out over the Pig Man metaphor. The image of lonely, hairy Pig Man was especially touching. *sniff*

I'm so glad House and Wilson are putting off their inevitable talk and still on the road. Can't wait for you to write about them in N’awlins. Btw, great banter and wonderful depiction of accents. *mems*

I am happy to provide you with cash savings. :) But if you like ridiculous humidity, alligators and eerie quiet, I recommend going anyway. Thank you for your kind comments :)

This is exactly what I needed after a long day at work! Wonderfully written, pitch-perfect characterization, and a great balance of humor and seriousness. Loved it to pieces and am already impatient for the next installment <3

Thanks so much :) The next part has been slow-going, because I want to get it right (whatever that means). Thanks again for reading!

This series makes me want to leave my job and spend my time instead visiting all the places you're writing about. You bring them to life so vividly, and the reactions House and Wilson have are so natural to both their characters.

I'm looking forward to their return to New Orleans!

Thanks! These places definitely have their charm, but I always feel relieved to be home afterward (guess I'm urban at heart). Thanks again for reading. :)
