Really, I loved how you captured the sales assistant's charm and House's disgust with himself. Love that Wilson decided he could eat a bit of rice from the Chinese restaurant (reminiscent of Christmas past). Adore the hopeful ending. I couldn't feel more warm and glowing than if I ate a Christmas candle. Thank you. *mems*

That was very, dare I say, 'bittersweet' :) Very sad to think of Wilson going alone to Chemo on the bus, and House wandering the streets forlornly. (and very brave of Wilson to give him his credit card and free reign I thought!). The sweater vest moose was so cute, and I love the idea of Wilson taking it to the hospital with him in his backpack and thinking of House :)
And this line "But I think we should talk about it in December. warms my heart because Wilson is actually going to *have* a December :)
Stupid question time - is Christmas in July actually a Thing in the US? I mean it's a minor thing here, but I wouldn't have thought that would make much sense in the Northern hemisphere when it *is* actually cold at Christmas?

Not that I know of (though I don't know much). We have Christmas in July sales, so people here know the phrase. Are you asking because the Forever Christmas store was open? Christmas stores here (or at least the few I know) are open year-round. I didn't mean to imply that's something we celebrate, though.
Thank you for reading and commenting! :)

I forgot to say I'm glad to see you're continuing your road trip series, I hope there will be further installments (and of course a happy outcome for Wilson :)

I love that you intertwined it with your verse - this was the perfect addition. IC as always, and left me all warm and fuzzy inside amidst House trying to mask how much he cares.
Sending lots of hugs and a plush moose your way - thanks so much for the fic <3
