Honestly I don't know how many Christmas seasons went by before I realized what the hell was going on with "Wonderful Christmastime" (like that it's a Christmas song, for one). But I love it because it's just so goofy and I love Paul, and so much of his post-Beatles stuff is awesome and bad at the same time.

Fun fact: for reasons unknown to me I had "No Scrubs" going through my head the other day for the first time in years. HANGING OUT THE PASSENGER'S SIDE OF HIS BEST FRIEND'S RIDE, TRYIN' TO HOLLA AT ME.

Sir Paul's post beatles so-awesomely-bad-it's-awesome-ness has really grown on me over the past few years. I sing (my version of) Uncle Albert every day at work (while walking children to the bus I sing haaaaaands across the parking lot haaaaassnds across the street) and if I ever happened to see him at a starbucks or something I'd probably point, run in a circle, stutter, and pass out.
But That 1 Song? It just squicks me out.
(And No Scrubs is my Sail Away. old skool south park reference there.)
