So, again I am slack with the whole updating business. I am sorry, I is. I will shield my ramblings behind a cut to save with the insanity inducing.

Down the Rabbit hole you go )

movies: general, rl: life, gaming: wow

If you read Deathly Hallows, then I don't think the movie will seem too long. A lot of it was cut or rearranged or replaced with something more condensed. If you haven't read it, then yeah, I can imagine how someone who doesn't know what's going to happen next would find it too long.

And Red was pretty good. It was a fun ride, so long as you just want some action and don't want to think too hard about things.

I never seem to think that the Potter flicks arre too long, but a lot of people have been bitching about the length in the press here.

Red always looks like a real hoot in the trailer here, so I'm inclined just to want to see it for the pure escapism.

I can't wait for Cata. Brad and I went back to our original server and joined a raiding guild there run by some of his oldest WoW friends...hopefully it goes well. He FINALLY got his Shadowmourne. Late, but done. lol

I'm loving what the shattering did, I had been in the beta so I'd seen a lot of it already but it was much more fun to watch friends oohing and aahing about it.

Alassenya and I are in a raiding guild on our server. At times it is the most frustrating experience, but sometimes it's just plain fun. We've got a few end game raiders, a few just starting out at raiding and then others like us who are probably above average raiders but RL timing gets in the way of raiding hard core every night. This makes for dissension when 'priorities' aren't all skewed the same way and with the notion that Kingslayer was going bye byes with Cata led to much in the way of hair pulling all around.

However, at the moment, for this week at least, we're in the middle of trying to down the King so really I don't think we're doing too badly in the grand scheme of things.

You know me sleep is optional it would seem, so writing filled the gap for a bit.

I'm amazed how quickly the girls are levelling too, but they seem to be making a fair crack at it so I won't complain. The lack of portals is a severe pain in the patootie I must say.

I envision that should the elfling be a girl it will probably make its debut as some sort of Victoria's Angel-ling and not be seen much after that at all.

He wouldn't dare be wed in anything other than a kilt would he? Isn't that some sort of sacrilege against his scottishness?

An angeling sounds almost as odd as an elfing - either way, the baby will do justice to any superlative the English language can muster.

As for the kilt - well, I will keep my fingers crossed, but it is December, and I think any sensible person would want to keep the amount of bare skin to a minimum. I'm sure that he'll look stunning in whatever he wears.

Omgosh, I love Seeker so much. Have you seen Deej's cracky stuff? She also started this thing about how everyone is Gay for Kahlan (because it's true). http://www.deejayl.com/ I would be careful going to the recaps before at least season 2 for spoilers though.

*wishes your family well*

Deathly Hallows seemed fine to me, the pacing was good and I loved the dynamic of the trio.
