It's a lip piercing, right above the center of the upper lip, between the lip and the nose. ~:3

:points to Angie's question: Seconding that. I'm gonna take a wild guess that it's some kind of piercing or body art, though it could just as easily be a newfangled butt plug (hey, some folks like it when it hurts on insertion). :D

That's a mighty peculiar name for a lip piercing; I'd have thought that a "Medusa" would be more like a hair replacement thing with fiber optic strands surgically adhered to the scalp.
