I finally got around to downloading the adblock extension for firefox, when I noticed the latest dev build blocks some elements before they load. As a modem user, this sped up my internet browsing by a thousand percent. I'm fairly sure it will improve broadband also, as I've seen some complain about a site pausing while an ad or script loads.

I sort of switch back and forth between Safari and Firefox. I downloaded that Adblock. Nice little tool. Had to shut it off on LiveJournal because it was blocking embedded videos as well as ads. But I love that I can check my Yahoo! mail and not have the distraction of those annoying mortgage refinance ads-weeeeee! I didn't download the filterset though, just used one from the standard list provided by Adblock.

Oh, my favorite Firefox add-on right now is FootieFox. Live football (eh, soccer) results from around the world.

Ok, so you're a Mac user. And you're a techie. Pretty cool.

For some reason, I assumed you were from America. Don't know why that is.

Mac user = yes
techie = semi techie sometimes
Americana = yes, californian actually (only if i'm forced to show my passport lol)
