Drove to maryland this morning with my parents ... so i actually got to ride (yay!). My mimi (my mom's mom) lives here and we came to visit. We did some discount shopping - although i only found a couple things ... we'll be trying again at some stores tomorrow (they really have some amazing deals here ... if you can find them). I don't think you should feel bad about your feelings toward your family. Thats kind of what I've dealt with when interacting with any of my family, because I live so far away from them. However, I have been taking and hanging out more with my cousins so that makes me like them more.
Its a tough thing but you'll be fine. Don't worry if you have to fake it.
