I heard that fucking song in Coconuts today, and it stuck in my fucking head again. I'm trying for just a quick update cause I don't feel like typing too much, but I don't think that's gonna happen. This week so far, I've been to three concerts. Monday was Iced Earth - Bloody Fuckin Brilliant! Here's a good story. After the show (which was awesome, BTW) we hung out back waiting for the guys to come out and sign stuff. We didn't go immediately because we were just screwing around. So the huge group that was with us dispersed, and we were left with Big Joe, Rob, Sticky, and myself. Sticky enjoyed his first concert, and since we stuck around so long we decided to get some autographs. I had bought an Aquafina bottle, and earlier made a joke about how I should get it signed since it cost $3. We had a good laugh, but I actually did get the bottle signed by all the members of Iced Earth! Tom came back in the middle of this because he left to take his girlfriend home. Eddie Trunk (Q104.3 NY-Based Classic Rock Station DJ) was there as well and he signed as well as took a picture with me and Tom. After all this, we waited for the drummer to come back out so tom could get his ticket signed. In the meantime John Shaffer (kick-ass cool guitarist) is standing outside talking to some of his friends. He goes back inside, and the guys walk by us. Rob says to me "Hey isn't that Mike Piazza?" So yeah, it was. He looked a little embaressed, but he signed some stuff and we left him alone since he was probably there to catch up with some friends. But how cool is that? Met Iced Earth, Eddie Trunk, Mike Piazza and had them all sign my fucking WATER BOTTLE!!!

Anywho, Tuesday was Hootie and the Blowfish. Got 2-for-1 tix online for 17.50 each. Met Bird there, and the place was PACKED. And I am not exaggerating. You literally could not move at all. Both VFW and Starland parking lots were filled, and people were parking up the road. Got in and this had to be the strangest mix of a crowd EVER. Old and young people alike everywhere. It was pretty cool. Danced with a (most likely) drunk girl. She was real pretty. They played four encores!! It was amazing. They covered Bruce Springsteen's "Growin' Up" in the third encore. It was so cool. This was also pretty cool: Darius Rucker (lead singer) says that his wife is from this area of New Jersey, and that the band got together and wrote a song about our state. They went right into "Only Wanna Be With You" which the crowd flipped the fuck out for. Another strange note, during this song, I looked to my right side for some reason that wasn't quite clear, and a girl who looked EXACTLY like one of my ex-girlfriend's was looking right at me. I don't know if it was her because she lives down South Jersey, but I swear it looked just like her. I felt pretty uncomfortable from then on, out but they only played one song after that, so I didn't think about it too much.

Another really strange story (they just keep getting weirder) I was about to leave the VFW parking lot and some guy was waving me down. I figured he was selling bootleg shirts and wanted me to buy one, which I probably would have. Instead, the guy told me they were stranded and needed a ride to Middletown. I was kind upset because Bird lives right there, and he probably would've done it no problem. But instead they offered me $60 to do it. So I figure what the hell, I'll be a good Samaritan and bring them home. It was two guys and two girls; Victoria, Sandra, George, and Paul I think were their names. The guys were pretty blasted and both girls seemed sober, but they could have just been buzzed. I will never know. All I know is that the ride to Paul's house was a fucking blast. I shoula asked for some contact info because they seem like cool dudes. They asked me to join them at the Yellow Rose Diner on 36 and offered to pay for whatever I got. I didn't want to be rude and take advantage of drunkenness, so I just got a coffee and a coke later. They told me to get something to eat, but I politely declined. Afterwards I drove them back, they offered me $60 but only asked for $40: $20 for gas, and $20 just for keeping these guys safe, because who knows what psycho (besides myself) they could've gotten a ride from.

Let's see, Wednesday, I went home early because I was so damn tired. Thursday was Tom's celebratory birthday dive at the biggest dive of them all, JJ Bitting. BOO! Actually it wasn't too bad for me because I didn't buy anything. But on the way to the place, I had to go back to my house to get my wallet, which I left there. I got a call from my sister because she needed to change a tire or something in South Amboy, so I had to go help her. Afterwards, I felt dumb, because I had just ordered Tom's gift that day. So instead of having nothing to give him, I gave him the Christmas gift that I forgot to give him for 6 months (The Offspring - "Splinter"), Jean Claude Van Dame's "Cyborg" on DVD, and two packs of smokes. I took the third pack for myself, since I'm under a lot of stress lately, what with the kids and all. He called me up the next day to thank me, which I found rather cool.

Last night sucked. Rob came down to my house, and if that wasn't bad enough (just kidding, Rob) Fitz said he was dropping out of the Fallout Boy show. I knew right here my night was gonna suck. This meant no place to drink, and that was a key to having a good time tonight. I told Bird to pick some stuff up, and we could just drink in the VFW parking lot or some place secluded. I get there late and they were already inside. To our dismay it seemed like we were the oldest people in the crowd. Uh-oh. The group was Tommy, Joe, Bird, Tucker and me. Turns out they didn't get any booze either so already I was depressed. I tried to make the most of it, but even I couldn't take it. 15 minutes in I wanted to punch somebody in the face. Tommy and Joe head out and it didn't really matter to these four because they got free tix. I had to pay $12 to get in, and I felt like I was raped. During Fallout Boy, me and Bird pushed our way through all those pussies and into the main pit where it was extremely mild to say the least. We knocked the crap out of everyone, and I'm sure some cried. At one point a guy elbows me in the face and I get serious and ask (scream at) him "what the fuck". Apparently I kicked him in the balls. Turned out to be our old classmate Jared Maltese. I laughed my ass off about it, and apologized, but then again if you don't expect to get your ass kicked in the pit, you're a moron. Somebody dug their elbow deep into my rib cage, but I didn't complain. I'm sore as shit, but I did not complain.

Left it early, it was such a disappointment, and I actually kinda like some of their music. But alas, they need an older fanbase so that I don't go to jail when I help a girl crowd surf. Oh well, I wanted to get a shirt since they were only $10, but the douche's at the coat check are incompetitant fucks. While in the que, some girl screamed and ran up to Bird and hugged him. Turns out the young broads we drunkenly conversed with at Midtown were also there and wanting to talk to us again. They looked older this time, so it was definetely the booze. Tucker and Bird talked while I tried to get a shirt without much success. Talked for a minute or two, and left causing a ruckus. We hung out for a while in the VFW parking lot and yelled stuff at girls who could actually drive. It was sad, but if anything can make up for a dreary day, it's Crown Fried Chicken. That place is gold I tell's ya!

Today was slow. Got up at 11, and fucked around until 1 or so. My mom came home and said there wasn't anyplace to park. So, I decided to leave so she'd have a parking space, and headed to go see if I could get some stuff at Coconuts. I still had to get my Father's Day gift, and decided it would be good to check it out. I also remembered that Sebastian Bach was today and we were supposed to go for 2. I had an hour to kill anyway. I picked up the first Skid Row album to get signed (used for $7) and also found the new Offspring album used for $9! I hope it wasn't Tom's. :D Anyway, looked around some more and earlier in the week, FYE had a sale that the Simpson's 1, 2, and 3rd season box sets were only $15!! Brand Spankin' New (just like Disney's Doug). So, I picked up 3 on Sunday, the new Season 4 on Tuesday, and today (since Coconuts and FYE are owned by the same affiliate) Season 2!! Yeah, only one more to complete the already released collection. Also got The Adventures of Indiana Jones box set for my dad. Went to Rob's afterwards since I called his house like 5 times and no answer. As I pulled up Sticky was coming back from a football fundraiser car wash dealy. We went inside and Rob didn't even remember that we were supposed to go see the guy.

He got dressed and Sticky decided to come too. We go to Vintage Vinyl, and the place is packed to the wazoo and possibly up it. We get on line and it's huge, and not moving. Anyway, Sticky shows up and has nothing for him to sign, so he says "fuck it" and walks around the store instead. We're standing around on this fucking line, and some short fuck with a "peacekeeper" t-shirt on says that we can't block the line so we have to "wrap" around the cd counters. So we're like "OKAY!!" and do so. Then the SAME GUY (keep this in mind) comes up to us and asks us if we're in line for the register or the signing. We all say the signing, even though me and Rob mumbled "yeah, yeah, the register, that's it.. dumbass". The guy tells us we're in the wrong line or something and that the line begins somewhere else, even further. So we get on the "new" line and this SAME FUCKING GUY comes back around asking us if we have wrist bands, even though my wrists are in PLAIN VIEW and the wristbands are BRIGHT NEON ORANGE. When we say no, he informs us that we need a wrist band to get stuff signed and meet Sebastard Bach. We tell him to give us some but he ignores us. Finally I've had enough and I say that I'm not a dedicated enough fan for this shit. I mean, I like Skid Row but goddamn that's ridiculous.

We start looking through things, and I figure I bought a $10 camera I better use it. So I took a picture of Rob and Sticky pissed off (Rob's suggestion). Then I made Rob take pictures of Sebitchian holding a gay KISS doll and taking to some other guy. Big Joe, Ding, Fitz, and Andra show up and discover that in order to get a braclet we have to buy the $19 DVD. WTF!? Man, I can pay for a ticket to go see him live for less than that and I'll probably meet him after the show for free anyway. I'm gonna have a few choice words for him if I do meet him though. VH1 was there though filming for their new series called "I Married Sebastian Bach". They follow him around on the road showing what his wife's life is like. Do you think I'm kidding? I couldn't make this shit up if I tried. There is a slim possibility we got on TV, but I don't really care. So here's one for the down boys: FUCK YOU SEBASTIAN COCK!

After this Rob and Sticky went home because they both had work tonight. I went with Ding, Fitz, Joe, and Andra to Chick-fil-a and let me tell you that place is gay. I just got a drink and left. Drove around and came home at 5. Took Mom and Pop out for Father's Day at Rockerfellas. Let me tell you never to go there. Maybe it was the chef, but everything wasn't good. I had a Burger, Dad had Pork Cutlets, and Ma had Ribs. None of us were really satisfied. If you want to go someplace good to eat, go to Big Ed's BBQ or something. Just don't go here.

Drove around in my ma's new car today, and it's pretty cool. It's a Saturn LS, and it came with a bunch o' shit. The trunk is huge. It's got a nice feel and good handling. Six disk CD player built in, which is my favorite feature. And in the back, there is a DVD player, which is completely and totally unnecissary, but still cool. I watched the Simpsons on the way, and found out there's a remote for it. Weird. Came home and the parents left, I'm here for the time being before I go to play basketball. I've been in a not-so-good mood today. I can't really put my finger on it, but I am kinda depressed, and I don't know why. It might have been when I was looking at a ring today... I don't think it's anything serious, I just feel like I'm in a rut or something today. Hopefully I feel better tomorrow. It's Aerosmith!! (and Cheap Trick) and I'm excited. I know Rob is creaming his pants in anticipation. I'm pretty psyched. I feel bad for the lady I talked to on Xanga the other day though; she's a huge fan and they cancelled her gig. But I hear they're rescheduling to come back in a month or so, so I hope she gets to see 'em. And I hope I get to see 'em too! They're probably make me feel a hell of a lot better than I feel right now. Later dudes.
