Honestly, I do end up feeling a bit sorry for Meredith. Derek's family really is being rotten to her. Not to mention her husbandish person is hopping in bed with his ex. However, I still don't like her. She has no common sense and the emotional development of a 12-year-old.

And Carolyn can bite me. I'd love to see Addison really rip into her.

Lol Meredith did have it pretty rough. I'm glad through this fic you were able to sympathize with her and also still not like her lol. That's how I used to feel when I watched GA. She had a bad childhood, but she was annoying as heck!

And agh Carolyn. I liked it better when we were led to believe that she always liked Addie. Now ishe has to be all mean. Oh well...guess that's why we fic writers get to change her mind haha.

While she did have a bad childhood, I never felt that gave her a pass the way she got on the show. That's a copout. If she's old enough to be an intern, she's old enough to take some responsibility for her actions. Instead, nothing is ever her fault on the show. That's what put me off her in the first place, I think.

Absolutely agree. No one else seems to act like she does when they've lived rough lives. But it's Shonda, and in her eyes, Meredith can do no wrong. I just don't get the mentality or the appeal, but whatevs. That's why I don't watch Grey's anymore and stick to Private Practice where they act much more like grown adults.
