Another year. Remarkable. And this still lives? I've been reading my old witterings, going back to the very beginning. I was certainly a wordy bastard back then. Looking at my friends' 'page now, most of the people I used to spend time batnering with just don't post anymore. It's all communities and icons and banners and twitter this and that. I

Welcome back! I've wondered about you/where you'd got to, but didn't think we knew each other well enough that I could prod you.

Glad to see you posting again. LJ is suffering from other fora taking traffic I think.

Yeah, of course, the amount of blog sites on the net now is just out of control, and so many love their facebooks and things...
There's not enough time to have a myriad net presences, nor the desire on my part..so here I remain! Like a bastion of strength! Or something..you too, I see. I must say that the lack of real content on my friends' page compared to, say, six years back, is dispiriting. I'd like to say that people just took their thoughts and words to other places, and while in some cases that's probably true, I suspect twitter has had a negative impact on substance and readability.

I Facebook and Tweet a little bit, but mainly follow what my friends are doing on there. I still think of LJ as my online 'home'.

I try to remember to put stuff on here regularly but it's a cycle, fewer people post and so I post less. I'll keep on keeping on though I think.

Hey! Wow, what a huge coincidence that you just idly breezed in, and here i am! Yeah, I wondered what crazy things were going on in your life. I remember the last few times we talked on AIM you quickly disappeared. AIM spontaneously stopped working for me...probably because I refused to upgrade it. I know what you mean about the lack of posting. I used to vent on mine and review, but I sit down now that I have a job and I can't do it. I think something sucked my will to write!

Doesn't that worry you? It happened to me as well and I"m not just referring to Livejournal here. It's a horrible thing to occur!
