hehe. yeah, I'm still looking; I actually have a pretty good lead on a job as a microbiology lab technician right now and if I get it I'll turn down the sales job. but, if I don't, this should be good enough to make my horrendous loan payments in the meanwhile.
it kinda sucks, because I think I am going to get this lab tech job, but it's going to pay absolute shit. like, half what I'd make at Dell. and I'd be doing the most menial work possible, like making plates and slides and shit, not actually analyzing anything, and who knows how long it'd take to get promoted... sigh. what ya gonna do.
anyway, as a sales monkey I would be on the phone all day in a call center saying hi thank you for choosing dell what can I build for you today & etc. not exactly my dream job, but no matter what I was doing I wouldn't be anywhere close.
