We just had a fire drill. We circled our way down 18 flights of stairs, our shaky legs then having to hold us up on the corner a few blocks away with the ugly sun turning our armpits into sweaty swamps of stench. At 5'1'', I'm generally right under it ( Read more... )

I am awesome now that I'm working 7am - 3pm (though the 5am wake up kind of sucks balls), because not only can I actually get home now, I get home in time for shops to still be open, so today I'm buying an old school picnic basket from the op shop.

And in other news, my keyboard is squeaking. Like a kids' trike sound. Or an old man with one leg on a wheel.
