Mate, when it comes to success stories, I hate to beat this horse butlook at what KISS did. KISS started in Gene's mid twenties, and did what he wanted to do and like him or not there are few more successful than him.

My point is, go for it mate.

I guess I'm getting ahead of myself. People have to go through a lot of shit before they find their true calling. Hunter S Thompson worked 15 years to get on the Journalism map. My problem is my impatience. I want everything now, I want to be an instant success with no failure in my hindsight and that's probably the most unrealistic thing I could ever want.

See man, instant fucking gratification. Thats all the worlds about right now.

Hehe.

Seriously though dude, you're a smart guy, with a lot of talents. You'll figure it all out.

It'll probably take a while to figure it out, but I guess you're right. Maybe the figuring of it all is what makes life interesting. What would life be without a little doubt?

I know this may sound cliché but the things that are worth getting in life are usually the hardest right? I know a lot of people in your situation, and im if of them. Im in university but im also going to another school to do what i want to do..there's always that balance.
Ever think of double majoring, music and whatever else your doing? Oh and by the way...please dont hang yourself.

I never did any music qualifications, everything I accomplished musically was pretty much self-taught. You could kinda say that I already am doing two majors because I study music like there's no tomorrow. And if a career in music ever did arise, I could fit into it naturally and not have spent lots of money becoming a qualified musician. Being an unqualified musician is good enough for me.

And don't worry, I'm not the suicide type.

Exactly my thoughts. If I took it up, then I'd learn to despise it. I'd like to leave my love of music unscathed.

it (being chained to a desk)is something of an inescapable fate in today's world.

I concur.

I always thought I'd like the idea of a desk job, but the closer I get to it the less I want to do it. Better than manual labour and getting paid fuck all though, right?

Similar thins my friend...it's why i avoided destroying my love of Photography with a degree course...before doing this i actually enjoyed writing.

But you've got to learn to keep your head, it seems that no more than i attempt to get a problem sorted than another one raises it's head..but like i said on Wednesday man, it'd be wrong without you and i don't like seeing you like this.

Much love bro...

...and besides...even if we can't do university or nothing happens, like to set up a record shop/recording studio with me?

Record shop and studio would own. Me and my mate Chris have a pseudo-idea to open a Graphic design company/whatever other services we can provide. I won't know about that until we've both left Uni though. Those kind of facilities would be amazing, it'd just be a case of finding people who'd want us to do work for them.
