I have raised your concerns with my local sausage government representative, and it seems that simply renaming all food-stuffs as sausages is not enough to enable you to eat more sausage without actually buying it.
He suggests that at a push, salamis, Spiced Polish/German wurst and even Hot Dogs can be allowed under the banner of 'sausage'... But thats as far as they will go.
They do also approve of your plan to eat more sausage and wonder if you would help persuade others to join you.
Oh well thank you kindly for sourcing a representative to resolve my quandary. I would say I was disappointed but of course, the plus side is that I actually do get to eat more sausages-of-the-traditionally-known-as-sausages variety, rather than 'fake' sausages. I'm also relieved to hear that they will accept hot dogs, and I'm sure IKEA will be too.
Clearly I would most welcome a sausage persuasion campaign and would be happy to persuade others. So far I have convinced two people to join me in my sausage eating quest...
