Wedding reception tonight. This amazing friend of our's who debated getting married because she figured it wasn't fair for her to do it if MJ and I couldn't, even though she and her husband had been together for 5 years. She honestly looked like some 1940's movie star with her long dark ringlets, basic makeup, and this amazing, simple gorgeous gown ( Read more... )

To comment on the the guy in the wheelchair.... You know, it really get me pissed off when people think like that.

here is 2 scenes from my life;

1) at Chase's brothers wedding, there grandmother was in a wheelchair, and I danced with her.
2) my sister and some friends were seeing our friends perform (a band), and this 22 year old girl was physically and mentally challenged. She seemed to be slapping her hands to her legs when they performed a Beach Boys song, so I went and asked her parents if I could dance with her. She had a remote chair. We danced and she had a blast, her parents did too.

So yes, not only is, cute is cute, but people are people. I do not care if the are in a chair, missing limbs, or an eye, black white blue green, they are not contagious!

Thanks for noticing something wonderful in someone who is different then most of us, and holding to your guns!

Your pretty awesome man :)

Oh by the way, I am a huge Hillbilly Rocker Greaser Punk kind of a guy.

I own a 1967 Chevy Step-side truck. If I could I would have a 67 GTO and a 56 and 57 Chevy, and so much more. I love 50s - 60s music VERY much. The band I spoke of are called the Cruistones. They played oldies.

I go to car shows when I can, of the classics, love Santa Cruz Boardwalk, I used to go the Graffiti Night honoring and crusing all night up in Modesto, Lucas's film American Graffiti. fact I think a Do Wop group called Papa Doo Run Run is playing on Santa Cruz this summer.

I LOVE the beach boys. I use to see them for 10 years.

I have grown my hair out and just begun to sport the Pompadour with the D.A. also know as the Duck Tail, in the back of my head.

I just started this. I have not has this hair style for about 6 years, and when Chase saw it, wow, talk about be undressed by someone's eyes !!! :)

So yeah I am more of a greaser punk kind of guy :)

Not sure why I shared, but I did

:P

Your mom totally rocks. Sounds like everything one would want in a mom. Funny, Accepting, nurturing. She actually takes an interest in your life, and says what has to be said.

BTW, Congratulations on the wedding. May it last forever, and be good forever, so long as the world spins.

Your mom sounds like someone I would like to meet. And her son's on my list of people to meet in person someday too.

Nice story about the wedding and I totally agree about the hot guy in the wheelchair. Guys in wheelchairs usually have amazing upper bodies.
