{scene: S.L. in her room at the computer, David either in the living room with the cats or sitting on the bed petting Booboo.}
David: [to BooBoo] Hi BooBoo! S.L.: [ironically] Dude, you haven't posted on LJ since APRIL. David: [innocently] Really? ::pause:: Well, I suppose I could post an update now... S.L.: Okay! David: Um...can I borrow your laptop?
That was *exactly* the conversation, except for the part where David now has his own laptop. See how long it's been? He hasn't even posted about that. Lazy David.
I know, I know. I've been stuck on a House, M.D. marathon lately and I just haven't been keeping up on movies like I should.
I'm currently trying to get around to watching "Trainspotting" and "Man on Wire," the documentary about the guy who walked between the tops of the WTC in the 70's.
I may be home sick tomorrow, so that may be a good opportunity to watch "Trainspotting."
Dude. House MD is AWESOMESAUCE. I love Hugh Laurie. He makes watching it worth while for me- more so than anything else. You *have* watched the old Jeeves and Wooster series *haven't you*?? o_O

Oh and speaking of cool t.v. series and Ewan McGreggor- I can use both of those in the same sentence if I mention the fantastic television show he did a while back on BBC- you can rent DVD- well worth it.
It was actually two series- one called "The Long Way Around" where he and his best friend went from London to New York on motorcycle (except for the part where they cross to Alaska in a plane). The other is "The Long Way Down" which was a sequel where they go from London to South Africa (I think)- also on motorcycle.
If you haven't seen it (regardless of how you feel about handsome men with charming Scottish accents) he's incredibly charismatic and the show is highly entertaining and interesting because of the experiences they go through. Some really amazing scenery and interactions with other cultures. Quite a nice surprise.
Wow, I haven't seen you post in forever. Those all sound like fun things. It's great that the studio has finally decided to remodel the billiards room downstairs into an actual dance studio. I wish I could visit. I hope the re-opening goes well. How are things with you? You need to get a facebook, it is so much easier to keep in contact with people than with a LJ. :-)
Yeah, I know I'm sort of in tech-exile. Many people have demanded I get an FB but if I keep forgetting to keep up on LJ, how will I remember to check that?
I need some sort of integration program that keeps me connected to all of these different applications thru a single, easy-to-read interface. Whoever invents that is gonna make bank.
Oh yeah, the new studio looks awesome. There're a couple of pics in the website banner: check out www.sjdancesport.com or www.danceboulevard.com (the studio's new name).
Bleh...it'd be nice come down one of these fridays and see you. I'd like to know whether there's any other possibly of rare sighting, outside of studio.
This Friday IS grand opening and you're invited! The studio is new and shiny and two stories now!
Hmmm... I'm usually either at work or at SL's. Occasionally I'm at home... Once in a while I'm free for a few hours in the morning. Otherwise I'm usually around after 10pm.
