I hate the way television dominates American living rooms, and try to keep my personal TV habit to a minimum, however one show has forever and irrevocably altered my being. This incredible feat of the human imagination is Star Trek the original series. My first kiss, getting in a near fatal accident, my awful fourth grade English teacher, Captain James Tiberius Kirk’s middle name. All things I will never forget as long as I live. Many shows have changed the way I look at life, like the daily show with John Stewart, but none as dramatically as Star Trek ( ... )
