hm. how do you go about telling the mass amount of close people in your life that someone close to you has died? I will begin here. It began last night when my grandma..ah, I'm getting ahead of myself. I have to say it began, or at least really hit me when I was in the 5th grade and my grandma asked me what my last name was. It went something like

They're only giving you $3,000, those bastards! You should get up the courage to call the financial aid office, tell them that you really want to go to school there and then say that there's no way that you could do that with the help they are offering, that you need atleast like 6,000 more or something, and see what they say. I've heard stories of people doing that and good results have come from it.
Anyway, great update! I'm sorry to hear about your grandma but I can understand why you'd be happy. I love my grandpa to death but I think he'll be happier once he's gone and he can be with my grandma again, I know how much he misses her.
It was nice seeing you this weekend! I'm sad I won't see you next weekend but I understand that Florida comes first :0)

I have thought about meeting with the Hope financial aide people..but they sent out a nice little letter (I'd consider it now an evil prelude to what they were about to send) saying something about they give what they think is right and how it isn't fair to others if you come in and bargain the price down (granted they were talking about how some people's counselors advise them to do this). Either way, I was a little scared. But I think I will..sometime soon too.

I'm glad I got to see you all these weekends :o) Sadly Florida will take away what could have been a month full of seeing you! But I'm sure you guys'll have a kicken time;) (I wanna see picture!!)--and speaking of pictures--thank you for those ones you sent me!

Sorry about your Grandmother, but your disposition brings me reassurance.

You should for sure hook up with us when you're down here. and I know, MSU seems gigantic, but its really not. There are tons of ways of making the University more intimate, and something for everyone :)

(if you remember I chose MSU purely out of financial reasons, but I'm so happy now that i'm here)
