I once had two pet raccoons. The first one we let roam around the backyard via a leash attached to a clothesline, with which he accidentally hung himself. The second was much nicer but she peed in my lap and soon after ran away.
once in TN, our neighbor down the road had a pet raccoon. crazy right? I guess it lived a long time and was a great pet all in all til one day, the neighbor was showering and the racc climbed the shower curtain, jumped on neighbor's back, and slid down it. nails out. i understand carly's concern. you should have gotten a fox rather than a dog to eat them up! sophie is adorable.
where is it? did you adopt her from a shelter? she looks like such a sweet, loving, wonderful dog. I am bias though as yellow / champaigne labrador looking dogs like she are my favorite. that's the kind of dog I want someday when I can afford a place with a patch of land for him/her to shit on / run around on. if you tell me where it is and if I have any ohio friends looking for a dog, I'll pass it on.
i was about to say that i think i am the only one who finds racoons to be damn cute, but then i skimmed some of you other comments. your friends are common freaks of my taste in fuzzy things.
