Sick days and cat fights...

Took a sick day today. I've been trying to get through this illness for two weeks now, but I just can't seem to beat it. Yesterday I was coughing my head off during the library staff retreat, so I thought maybe I should take a 3-day weekend to relax and try to finally get rid of whatever it is that has taken hold in my lungs. So far today it seems

Our three cats have been living together for years now, and still, occasionally there will be screaming and hollering, and usually it ends up with Bubba Fat-Ass strolling into the living room with a clump of somebody's hair in his mouth, because he's ten pounds heavier than Boo and probably three or four times heavier than Oopid.

Keep a spray bottle of water handy for the next time they fight. I hear it works wonders.

And don't give up on the cats learning to get along. Cats are notoriously picky and they haven't been together for a very long time (as far as cats are concerned).

I don't know...I can't see Jack and Nova ever getting along. Nova and Jack are both dominant personalities.

I'm around. We have a new roommate that's staying with us and I just finished up my master's. Those two things have kept me a little busy. Though things should settle down now (hopefully).
