Today we introduced Penelope to the microscope. We looked at several fibers that came with the microscope (sheep wool, goose feathers, etc) and a few things that came from our house (mold from a lemon, algae from the fish tank, my blood).

Penelope was captivated.

There are so many fun experiences ahead for us.

Sabrina: I'm a bulldog. I'm not a good bulldog. I'm a bad bulldog. The oranges don't like good bulldogs. They like bad bulldogs.
Me: Why? Are they bad oranges?
Sabrina: No. They're killer oranges.

I love my quilting cabinet.

I suppose a person could spend their whole life figuring out what love is. I suppose most people do spend their whole lives doing just that, and I'm not sure what it would mean to live a life where one didn't. While we were eating dinner, Sabrina announced that she had to go potty. After having been gone quite a while, Heather calls out, "are you still going potty?"

"I'm pooping! But there's no poop!"

"Oh..."

Silence...

"Are you CRAZY?" Sabrina pipes up again.

"Um, no" replied Heather.

"Then get in here and wipe my butt!!"
