I don't know what my problem has been lately. I have been getting more and more depressed, and it's really starting to worry me. The strange thing is that I act/ sometimes really am happier than I remember being. Maybe it's just the stress getting to me, and I know I want to go home like a motherfucker... but... So I definitely feel for you. Just keep going. Don't ignore how you've been feeling but acknowledge it and let him know that you honestly can't help it and that you just need him to bear with you. It'll be different when you are back and out from under the college thumb. He'll most likely agree and you'll have nothing to worry about.

Anyways I pretty much agree with what angry_nerd said. Take note of how you've been feeling but don't let it take over. I'd have to certaintly say that being on the opposite side of the world + having no one you really know with you = holy crap freaky stress (aleast it would be for me). Like you said just keep busy and that way you won't have time to think about things and get upset or if you can't help your mind from wandering try bombarding it with something good.
You're a beast Kim, I'm sure you can hold out a little longer.
