damn. I think I would shoot myself if the sun didn't come up before 9:30 (or whatever later time you imply has existed before today). Can I tell you how excited I was today since it was sunny so I didn't have to wear my rain pants and biking booties and jacket to get around? I can't imagine what a -32 degree life must entail (so much more than the relatively light inconvenience of all my rainy gear), but damn. I'm glad you're so chipper about it, but man am I excited it's you and not me up there:)

I have managed to find your live-journal! Excellent! It's been way too long since I've heard from you, my good friend. Although I suppose it sounds like you are quite busy these days. I should be busy too, I should be getting started on thesis thingy...
It's amazing what my little life turned upside down can do for my motivation (I mean this in the most brilliantly negativ sense), although I suppose it is even more amazing to see how long I will be able to continue using this as an excuse...oh well - sigh.
Well, I hope that I might perchance meet you on aim sometime, it'd be nice to chat with you again. Otherwise I might have to dig up your number and hope it will connect me to the right place, which I suppose wouldn't be bad either, supposing it works.
