Life's going well up here in ol' Fairbanks: mostly sunny and warm with temps soaring from the 50's to the 70's. Spent a night out at Chena hotsprings Thurs night and a leisurely morning there Fri (courtesy of my new job- was a company holiday with spending money for Chena... always nicer when someone else pays for your hotel, food and the like ^_

yesh, I am glad to have the break too. Should be very nice to be able to sleep in a bit, and see family again ^_^.

Sounds like a full month ahead! =) Have a great time on the East Coast! [but...ugh...summers there are humid. Don't really envy that aspect. =)]

Your company pays for vacations? As in not just the working hours but the resort as well? Wow. That's pretty cool. Very Japanese.

well, the holiday was a company day out. Instead of having a structured activity this year though (in years past they took trips out to Denali, fishing in Homer/Seward, day cruises and the like), we were given an allowance to spend at Chena and be reimbersed later. I like working for a small, close-knit company ^_^.
