Wow, it has been a long time. Well, the trip to the lower 48 for my cousin's wedding went fine, aside from minor things like the Flood of 06 trailing me wherever I went. Met Chaia's family, and had an overall good time (am still breathing and have use of both legs, so I think her dad likes me). Since then I've been back up in Fairbanks and

Yea, it has been a long time! Sounds like you're doing well...
I'd try to visit if I didn't have a job now. Having a job is good, it just means I can't run off to various places all over the world whenever I feel like it. Then again, without a job I wouldn't have the money to do that anyway.

YAY! I'm glad that you are still alive...I would be very sad if it were otherwise. Grats on the new place. Don't worry about furniture...it can come later. Emy's place only has a couch...it is actually really amusing. Good luck on the new school year. With any luck I will be able to take Thesis in the Spring and finally graduate in May. (Crosses fingers) It was nice to finally hear from you again. :)

I wish you were here this weekend. They are having a PIRATE festival in Portland, but Nessa isn't feeling well, so we probably won't go. It makes me sad that there's a pirate festival in town that I'm going to miss.
